How do I read my tank gauge?
You can read your oil tank gauge like the gasoline gauge on your car. Most tank gauges are located on the top of the tank. Markers on the gauge will tell you if you are ¾ full, ½ full, ¼ full, or near empty. Some tank gauges are marked by gallons.
When should I order fuel?
If you are not an automatic delivery customer, it is your responsibility to order fuel accordingly to avoid a no-fuel emergency. Running out of fuel is a safety hazard that can significant damage to your equipment. We recommend that you schedule your next fuel delivery when your tank reads ¼ full or higher. This will give our team plenty of time to schedule, route, and deliver your heating fuel before tank levels get too low.
Where can I sign up for automatic delivery?

How often should my equipment be serviced by an HVAC professional?
We highly recommend that you have your heating system maintained by a Hampden Fuel Oil heating specialist once a year. One annual visit can improve the operating efficiency of your system, reduce future heating bills, and lower the likelihood of a mid-season breakdown. The months just before or just after the heating season are the most ideal times to schedule your yearly tune-up.
